Guardian of The Nest - Arachnid

This is a female crab spider hovering over her egg case. If you look at the leaf it is wrapped with spider webbing all the way around and folded over. She will stay and guard her nest case until they hatch.
The venom of these spiders is quite powerful and quickly subdues prey much larger than themselves with their wait and grab technique. Amazingly they can slowly alter their colour to match surrounding plants.
